Our Purpose

Our Purpose Ron Artale, once a recipient of the assistance of BALEAF, is now a member of the Board of Directors, and is paying it forward.

BALEAF provides support to law enforcement members and their families who have experienced a catastrophic event or been seriously injured, sick, or killed in the line of duty.

Immediately following such events, BALEAF can provide support and funding for a range of needs in these difficult circumstances, as well as grief counseling for survivors and their families. BALEAF also supports activities for law enforcement personnel.

Our board consists of a police psychologist, the surviving wife of an officer killed in line of duty, the daughter of an officer who survived a catastrophic event, a daughter whose father was killed in the line of duty, the son of an officer killed in the line of duty, as well as other individuals that work with law enforcement personnel and their families.
